Ans:
A book fair is a kind of fair where different types of books are displayed for sale. People go to book fairs to find their desired books. Generally books fairs are arranged on the occasion of 21st February, 16th December, 26th march and New Year. The fairs are held in an open place of in auditoriums or big hall-rooms. They usually remain crowded. People from all walks of life visit the fairs. From the interest and participation of people, the popularity of book fair in our country can be realized. All kind s of books such as fiction, drama, poetry, novel, biography, translation, children claviers, story books etc. are usually available in a book fair. Last 21st February, I have visited Ekushey Boi Mela. I went there in the evening. I met some renowned authors of our country there. A book fair is really and exceptional place. It facilitates our reading habits and thus makes us enlightened people. It also develops our creativity.

Ans:
A fair which is organized to display and sell books is called a book fair. I visited a book fair organized on the 21st February last year. It was held on the occasion of observing 21st February. The book fair was held in the premises of the Bangla Academy. I want to visit the fair with some of my teachers and close friends. The fair looked very grand, large and nice. I went round the fair. I saw different book stalls, a huge crowd of people. The books such as novels, rhymes, adventure series, etc. are available here. I saw the children and the students buying books according to their respective choice and taste. I learnt many things and purchased a few books by Humayun Ahmed. I saw him surrounded by a lot of fans. He seemed to feel tired of giving autographs. The seminar held at the foot of a tree attracted me most. I have gathered immense experience through visiting the fair.

Nowadays book fairs are becoming more and more popular in Bangladesh. These are held in different cities and towns on some special occasions. The tradition originated from the book fairs held at Bangla Academy in commemoration of the language Movement. In a book fair all the leading publishers set up stalls. /some importers of foreign books also have their own stalls. Islamic Foundation and Bangla Academy open stalls at book fairs. Thus there is a large number o fell-decorated and attractive bool stalls in a book fair. At the fairs people can buy books on temping commission. The book-fairs thus widen the forum of reading public. Besides books, cassettes of Rabindra Sangeet. Nazrul Geeti, folk song and of recitation are also put on display for sale. At one corner of a fair the visitors can find a few stalls that sell snacks many traditional Bangladeshi snacks. Book-fairs are a noble venture and it proved a success.

At present, a book fair is a very popular fair in Bangladesh. It is really and attractive fair where different types of books are displayed and sold. Every year in the month of February, a large and gorgeous book fair is held in Bangla Academy. This fair is known as Amar Ekushe Grantha Mela. I was very lucky to visit the Ekushey Boi Mela this year. This fair, reminds us the struggle and sacrifice in the language movement. The fair was organized by Bangla Academy in the premises of the institution. I went there with some of my friends. When I entered the main gate of the fair, I found a different environment. I found all sorts of books, dramas, children books, reference books etc. Men, women and children of all ages and publishers. From a book stall, I bought some favorite books . In the evening, many poets, novelists and writers came to visit the fair. Besides books, other attractive articles were also held in the fair. Book fair is very important because it upgrades our thoughts and expands ou knowledge. I was very delighted visiting such a fair and gathered some new experience there.
