Answer: Although facebook is a very popular social networking site, it has many bad effect on human life. Firstly, it is very easy for cyber bullies to thrive on facebook. They can harass and gang up on one person. There are not any moderators that go around monitoring what people say to each other. Secondly, most of the students of school and college level are spending their valuable time on facebook instead of studying. A study has found the exam results of those who used facebook while working, were 20 percent lower than non-users. Thirdly, some studies suggest that so-called teenage ‘’hyper-social network’’ are more likely to engage risky behaviors, such as smoking, drinking, drug use and promiscuity. Fourthly, through facebook chatting, people sometimes make illegal relationships which spoil the happiness of their family. Besides, teenagers often build-up their one sided love without knowing personally each other that leads them to commit suicide. This is why, to keep us in touch with our family and friends and to stay connected with the rest of world, we must be aware of the evils of facebook.
