The prices of essential commodities are going up uninterruptedly. Syabean oil, pulses, onion, garlic, ginger, vegetables are jumping up. Compared to last week market price, every item has jumped up in price. Although the whole sale market rate has not gone up much, the retail prices have gone up. When asked, the retailers said they buy at high price, so they sell in intolerably higher price as carrying cost, fuel cost, labour cost, everything has gone  up. Abul Khair a retailer claims high labor charge, and high transport cost are the reasons of rise in vegetable market. But the producing farmers do not get the price. The middle men eat up the profit of the farmers. The authority concerned must take measure to control the situation.
