My dear father,

I have received your letter. I am sorry for not replying to it earlier because I was bysy with my studies. You have wanted to know about my preparation for the coming S.S.C examination. You will be glad to know that I have taken quite a good preparation for it.

Mathematics seems very interesting to me. I hope I would be able to cut a good figure in Mathematics. I have also read thoroughly almost all the topics of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I have although been well off in language. I think I will do well in English and Bangla, moreover, I have solved different questions of quite a good number of boards and schools from the test paper. Special classes are also being taken by our teachers in the school. I can assure you that if God wishes I could save your face in the forthcoming examination.

I am well, with best wishes to mother and love to the younger brothers and sisters.

My dear father, 

I have not heard from you for a long time. I also could not write to you durihg the long period. But today I cannot but write to you to tell you a good news. 

You will be glad to know that I stood first in the final model test of our school. You know I could not do very well in the Pre-test exam. But after it was over, I began to study seriously. I found no subject hard to me. Earlier I did not study any subject very seriously except Mathematics. Before our Test Exam I studied well for two months. Every day I started to study at 6:30 p.m. closing the door of my reading room and continued up to 12:00(mid night) with a gap of 20 minutes for supper in the middle. And every morning I checked through writing what I had learnt the previous night. I just placed the questions on the table and wrote their answered within a fixed time. After that I myself assessed them with the help of the answers prepared earlier by my subject teachers. You can say, I was in the deep study at night and I sat for checking every morning. This practice helped me so much that I have done quite good in the model test held after the Test I got Grade point 5 in every subject. And in my most favorite’s subjects, Mathematics and Physics, I got 100 and 97 marks respectively.
