Dangers of smoking

Answer: It is well known to all that smoking is one of the worst habits of man. Yet eighty percent of our people are in the habit of smoking. Every limb of human body is undoubtedly affected by smoking. It causes a number of fatal diseases like cancer, ulcer and heart attack. Chronic bronchitis gastric pain, irritation of the eyes, offence of the nose and unsettlement of mind. One putt of cigarette smoke bears fifteen billion particles of injurious things like nicotine, methyl alcohol, carbon monoxide, arsenic and so many other acids. Smoking is so harmful and hateful that a nonsmoker always tries to avoid the smoker. Smoking decreases the supply of oxygen in all the parts of human body. It also destroys lungs, nerves, veins, appetite for food, energy and even character. It is not possible to describe the demerits of smoking in writing. All of us in respective of caste, creed, colour, religion, class and should make a social revolution against this destructive and disgraceful habit so that we may have a smoking-free country.

Smoking is a very bad habit. It is a very dangerous habit, too. It is so dangerous and mortifying that it may cause cancer, heart-attack, high blood pressure, chronic lungs troubles and other serious diseases. Smoking tobacco products is a major health hazard. It is found that one puff of cigarette smoke contains fifteen billion particles of matter including nicotine, methyl alcohol, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, arsenic, benzopyrene and several other acids. These are all really very fatal and injurious to our health. Nicotine constricts the size of blood-vessels which impedes the normal flow of blood and oxygen in the body. It causes the heart to beat faster. Benzopyrene, arsenic and tobacco tar are cancer-causing agents in animals and human beings. Tobacco tar forms a brown sticky mass inside the lungs and it hinders the easy flow of blood. The presence of carbon monoxide in he tobacco tar drives out the oxygen from the blood and it is also dangerous. Besides, smoking can cause irritation in the eye, offend the nose and unsettle the mind. After all, the dangers of smoking is quite unlimited and all should avoid it to live a happy and peaceful life.
