Our environment is getting polluted day by day. All things around us are the elements of our environment. But air, water and soil are the main elements of our environment. When these main elements of environment become polluted, we call it environment pollution. Environment pollution is a threat to our life. Our environment gets polluted in many ways. Smoke is responsible for air pollution and is hazardous to our health. Man makes fire to cook food, to make bricks, to burn refuse and to melt pitch. Fire creates smoke and smoke pollutes air. Water is polluted through waste, insecticides and chemical fertilizers, oil etc. Trees are a useful element of the environment. People cut down trees indiscriminately and affect the environment. |Environment pollution has a destructive effect on our life. Environment pollution results in ecological imbalance and brings about natural disasters. Trees are important for maintaining ecological balance. W should plant more and more trees and promote afforestation. Trees bring about rain and prevent air pollution and soil erosion. Therefore, awareness should be created among the common people about the bad effect of environment pollution and they should be encouraged to prevent environment pollution as much as possible.

Ans:
The world we live in is full of things- both natural and man made. Both natural and mad made things constitute our environment. Any abnormal change in chemical, physical and biological characteristics of the environment is called pollution. Environment pollution is direct consequence of industrial advancement. Our environment is getting polluted in various ways. In big industrial areas the air is getting polluted by the exhausts of automobiles, furnaces, industrial soot etc. gain, there are other factors like decomposition of garbage and other refuse which fills the environment with dirt and filth. The revers, canals and lakes near the industrial areas get highly contaminated by industrial wastes which are being thrown into them. It causes a lot of harm to mankind. It causes bronchial injuries, burning sensation in eyes and also damages lungs. Besides, it creates health hazards to a greater extent. So more effective and necessary to apprise people of the impending danger. We as well as the govt. should take a hand to create a better environment for living on earth.

Objects, forces and conditions, both natural and man made make the environment. the main elements of environment are human beings, animals, plants, soil, air and water. Our environment is being polluted in many ways. Air is polluted by smoke and water is polluted by waste and filth. Sound is polluted by dumped and untreated human waste. Environment pollution creates a ruinous effect. Pollution causes the unnecessary death of millions of people all over the world. We suffer from various fatal and chronic disease due to environment pollution. Environment causes changes in the world's climate and brings about different kinds of natural disasters. It hiders the balance and harmony of environment. So we should be taken against indiscriminate use of chemicals. we should raise consciousness among the common people about the destructive effects of environment pollution. The mass media can play a vital role in this regard. By preventing environment pollution , we can ensure a healthier and happier life for us and for our future generation.
